Metamask Chrome Extension – Get this Extension

  1. Open Google Chrome: Launch your Google Chrome web browser.

  2. Go to the Chrome Web Store: Type "Chrome Web Store" into the address bar or click on the three dots at the top right corner of your browser window, then select "More tools" > "Extensions" from the dropdown menu. This will take you to the Chrome Web Store.

  3. Search for MetaMask: In the search bar at the top left corner of the Chrome Web Store, type "MetaMask" and press Enter.

  4. Select MetaMask: Look for the MetaMask logo in the search results and click on it to open the MetaMask extension page.

  5. Add to Chrome: On the MetaMask extension page, click on the "Add to Chrome" button located on the right side of the page.

  6. Confirm Installation: A popup window will appear asking you to confirm the installation. Click on "Add extension" to proceed.

  7. Wait for Installation: Google Chrome will begin installing the MetaMask extension. Once the installation is complete, you will see the MetaMask icon appear in the top right corner of your browser window, next to the address bar.

  8. Set Up MetaMask: Click on the MetaMask icon to launch the extension. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your MetaMask wallet, including creating a new wallet or importing an existing one.

  9. Explore MetaMask: Once your MetaMask wallet is set up, you can start using it to interact with decentralized applications (DApps), send and receive cryptocurrencies, and manage your digital assets securely.
